Supporting Educational Options — a Study Committee Hearing for HB 435

Bringing a chartered public school to fruition is not an easy endeavor. There are many challenges and the process can be daunting. Funding and political agendas are just a couple of the hurdles that must be cleared to bring charter schools to life.

Many legislators do their best to support these educational options, but they need to know the public cares and notices their efforts. Please consider attending the next study committee session for HB 435, the bill that would raise charter school funding. The committee will meet on Wednesday, August 13th starting at 10:00am in the Legislative Office Building, rooms 210-211. There will not be an opportunity for public input, but your presence there can speak volumes. It is also good to note what the committee members say and what issues arise.

Please show your support of educational options, this bill, and the legislators who work to support school choice.
