Home educating families must complete some kind of annual assessment for their children. You may select your choice of

• a national student achievement test,
• an evaluation by a teacher, or
• another method acceptable to your Participating Agency.

There is no specific due date. Keep the assessment results in your child’s portfolio. It remains your private property and is not submitted to anyone.
