Voting for candidates that support educational options and parents’ involvement in their children’s education is critical. Our legislators are supposed to represent our principles, so if you value having choice in education and wish to protect our students’ privacy, please take that into consideration in the voting booth.
The primary election is Tuesday, September 9th, and the general is Tuesday, November 4th.
In the weeks ahead, we will share ratings and endorsements of candidates that support these views.
One of the non-partisan organizations that share these values is NH Families for Education. Earlier this week they announced their scorecard for all incumbents. NHFFE will also announce candidates’ scores as they become available. The rating is based on issues regarding Common Core, data privacy, and high-stakes testing. Incumbent representatives are only scored on roll-call votes so they can be individually accountable.
