Do you operate some kind of enrichment program, learning center, or co-op? Great! You’re in the right place.
Be aware that if you wish to offer some kind of drop-off program for children who are not yet “school aged,” meaning younger than six years old by September 30 of the current school year, then your service might be considered daycare and fall under the purview of the NH Department of Health and Human Services.
It is advisable to look into local zoning requirements and insurance coverage, even if services are offered in your own home.
We have seen co-ops attempt to operate without considering these issues and they ran into significant legal obstacles that required them to close abruptly.
GSHE may include your information in our extensive resource directory that is available to thousands of NH homeschooling families across the state. To be considered for GSHE’s directory, please send the following information to info@GraniteStateHomeEducators.org. Inclusion in our directory is not an endorsement or recommendation.
